Growing up, I thought there was something wrong with me because I was highly sensitive. Now I know that being highly sensitive is a trait, found in 15-20% of the population (more recents studies show 20-30%). Learning about this reframed my whole perspective on the first half of my life!
Deep listening to the subtleties of life
It’s the perfect trait to have for my work as a Feng Shui practitioner, which relies on deep listening to the subtleties of spaces and people. Feng Shui is also very beneficial for highly sensitive people which is why I was so drawn to it. Highly sensitive people tend to get overwhelmed and overstimulated more easily. One of the benefits of Feng Shui is creating a peaceful, balanced living space that will recharge and renew you from our overstimulating world.
How Feng Shui can help highly sensitive people
I was very excited to be invited by Lisa Lewis to talk about ‘How Feng Shui Can Help Highly Sensitive People’ on her ‘Am I OK?’ Podcast. It’s been a dream of mine to connect more with highly sensitive people and I guess the universe heard and answered my prayers. Click here to listen to our conversation.
Are you a highly sensitive person?
In the podcast you’ll learn more about Feng Shui but also about what it means to be a highly sensitive person (HSP). If you’re not a HSP, it’s very likely you know someone who is and learning more about the trait will help you understand them much better. On the podcast I share some of my personal story about being a highly sensitive person and how I came to discovering Feng Shui.
I hope you enjoy our conversation, if you do, please subscribe to the podcast and write a review which will help it reach more people and spread the word about highly sensitive people and the benefits of Feng Shui. Thank you! Listen to the podcast here.
